The Spanish government has presented a legislative proposal to regulate party funding and avoid new corruption scandals.

The proposal was developed under the leadership of Spain Deputy Prime Minister Soraya Saez de Santa Maria, who hopes on a broad consensus in the definitive design in Parliament. One of the basic proposals is that only individuals should have to donate money to political parties in Spain and not companies.

Moreover want Partido Popular and Spain Deputy Prime Minister Soraya Sáez de Santa María prohibit banks to reduce or completely waive loans taken by political parties. There have been several high-profile cases, which is seen as an indirect party financing from banks side.

The proposal was quickly criticized by the opposition parties, who say that it should be taken more and more determined action against widespread corruption in Spain.

Manilvas mayor Antonia Muñoz refused Dec. 19 to answer study questions referee, Manilva is east of Marbella on the Costa del Sol.
